One of America's most popular beer makers has been accused of watering down their brews. Class-action lawsuits have been filed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California on behalf of beer drinkers after former employees at Anheuser-Busch claimed they watered down many of their popular beers.
Budweiser, Michelob, Natural Ice and Bud Light Platinum are among the beers included in the lawsuits, which are each seeking more than $5 million in damages. Lawyers maintain that the watered-down beer contained three-to-eight percent less alcohol than what was stated on the labels.
Anheuser-Busch says "the claims against [them] are completely false, and these lawsuits are groundless…Our beers are in full compliance with all alcohol labeling laws."
