I’ve the week either snowed in or under the weather, so I’m eager to break this cabin fever and do something this weekend.

Beatlemania at Fredricksen Library with Shea Quinn and special guest, Logan, 10-year old drummer!

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ legendary appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show as Shea and Logan play tribute in song to this group that forever changed rock’n roll music.

No registration necessary -- open to all ages. Performance begins at 7 p.m.

Murder at Mount Hope opens this weekend on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. The story is set in Depression-era America, where the American Paranormal Society has been called upon to help end the economic downturn. Of course, they believe the answer lies in the past. .

The interactive event features a four-course dinner. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Fridays and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturdays through March 29.

This is what I hope to be doing on Sunday: Explore the many wines of local Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country this February with their ValenWine’s Day Celebration. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Feb. 8-9 and 15-16, pairing chocolates with participating wineries’ handcrafted vintages.

Tickets for ValenWine’s Weekends are $10 per person or $15 per couple.
