It’s officially spring! Get out of the house and check out these hand-picked events this weekend.

Third in the Burg returns! There’s plenty to do throughout downtown and Midtown Harrisburg. My picks include checking out the St@rt-up-iversary, celebrating a year of St@art-up Harrisburg, a coworking space in Midtown. Their event features artwork by Nick Sider and ice cream samples from coming-soon Urban Churn!

Also to check out: Samples of The Vineyard at Hershey’s wines at Little Amps on State Street.

Plus, one of my teenage favorites, Empire Records, is the after-party pick at Midtown Cinema. Just $3 and BYOB.

What, you thought St. Patrick’s Day was over? Not in this town. Saturday is the Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Parade, which weaves through downtown Harrisburg. Anyone who is anyone knows that the top party spot it he bleachers outside of the Brick Haus. Get a spot where you can and enjoy the festivities.

Afterwards, visit Ceoltas Irish Pub for the McGinley Irish Dancers or Appalachian Brewing Co., where their Irish Fest wraps up.

Plus, Read: What to drink instead of green beer.

If spring means anything for motorcycle enthusiasts, it’s time to ride. Sunday is the Motorcycle Super Swap and Bike Show at the Farm Show, the largest showcase and swap meet in the northeast.

You can buy and sell bikes, plus door prizes and more than $8,000 in cash awards for custom builds.
