This celebrates one year of delivering my top selections for your weekend Friday mornings on The River 97.3. I brought nothing to celebrate! What I do have, however, is another great guide to your Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

Midtown Cinema is hosting a “Halfway to Halloween Weekend.” The fun starts tonight with a screening of the cult classic, Rocky Horror Picture Show at 10 p.m. Tickets are $8; Prop bags will be sold for $5.

Tomorrow, a dance party and costume contest kicks things off at 8 p.m., followed by another showing of Rocky Horror at 10 p.m. Tickets are $12; prop bags $5.

Things wrap up Sunday at 7 p.m. with the original A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Here’s what I’m doing Saturday: PA FLAVOR. This annual event is a celebration of Pennsylvania craft beer and food. It features more than two dozen Pennsylvania breweries, a handful of restaurants and tons of Pennsylvania food vendors. It’s an all-afternoon sampling event!

ACT NOW! I’m giving away four pairs of General Admission tickets at Leave a comment on this post BEFORE NOON to enter to win.

We’re looking at some beautiful spring weather this weekend, so on Sunday, enjoy Gardenfest at Hershey Gardens. This annual community day is free of charge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plus, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., local organizations will offer information on a variety of community and garden programs.
