March was wine month, now April is all about beer. Today kicks off the Susquehanna Ale Trail’s Passport event, which goes through this weekend and next, April 4-6 and 11-13.

Pick up a Passport ($15) at any of the participating breweries or brewpubs, like Troegs Brewing Co., Lancaster Brewing Co. or Mudhook Brewing Co. and you’ll get special access to tours and tastings -- plus a souvenir mug and 10% off of purchases.

ComicCon is in Carlisle this weekend! Gamers, comic book fans, geeks and nerds: Central PA ComicCon is at the Hotel Carlisle/Embers Convention Center Saturday and Sunday. It features gaming tournaments, workshops, panel discussions, costume contests, and more.

Headlining is JG Hertzler, otherwise known as Klingon General Martok in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series. Tickets are $20-45 and can be purchased online.

Finish out the weekend with a bang -- and a party at Mr. G’s Sports Bar. American Posse and Pocket Rockit are getting together for a Sunday evening concert and otherwise good time to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event also features a live auction. Pocket Rockit starts at 4 p.m.; American Posse at 5:30 p.m. $10 cover benefits LLS.
