Last week’s camping adventure was a big hit -- It was great to fully unplug and refresh. Now I’m back and ready for another busy weekend, loaded with beer and wine events, live music and more. Remember you can find a full list of weekend events on my blog every Thursday!
DO: May’s event also welcome the first in a series of Summer Block Parties held by the Susquehanna Art Museum, in conjunction with 3rd in the Burg. Stop by Calder Street between Third and James Sts. between 6-9 p.m. for music, a video wall, refreshments, family activities, chalk art and more.
Drinking for a good cause: This Saturday, join GIRLS GOT HOPE from 6-10 p.m. at the Brewhouse Grille for the 8th annual BREWS FOR BOOBIES.
Tickets are $25 and include appetizers, two draft beers, a Brews for Boobies bracelet and live music from local jam band, Herbie.
Sunday night, take in an evening of global cuisine with Cross the Globe benefiting Channels Food Rescue. The event features world cuisine prepared by Channels Food Rescue’s renowed Chef Jackie Pestka and the JDK Group, plus fine wines and artisan beers.
The event runs from 5-9 p.m. and features music by Shea Quinn and Tory Keefer.
