Let’s face it: summer is here. Thank goodness! And with it, another packed weekend full of live music, outdoor imbibing and much more.

Order your culture with a side of the outdoors: Harrisburg Shakespeare Club presents its annual FREE Shakespeare in the Park. This year, the ensemble performs Antony and Cleopatra at the bandshell at Reservoir Park. Runs Friday and Saturday nights for three weeks.

Pack your blanket, chairs and a picnic!

Name a better way to spend a Saturday than with live music and some great barbecue: You can’t. This Saturday, visit “The Yard” at ShakeDown BBQ in Grantville to enjoy the Q and tunes. Featured band this weekend is The Tsunami Project. Music runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. No cover charge! Plus, BYOB! Grab your favorite sixer, growler or bottle of wine for a perfect weekend evening.

This Sunday, the area’s first all organic Sunday farmers market will open in Linglestown at Yoga Nature’s Organic Farmers Market. It runs 2-6 p.m. and features food booths selling produce, dairy, meat, bread, flowers, etc., along with a rotating booth featuring local artisans.

Much like the Thursday Farmers Market in Hershey, local musicians will perform on-site at Yoga Nature’s Organic Farmers Market. Stay tuned for other events during the market, as well.
