Do you have triskaidekaphobia? It’s Friday the 13th, and it’s another HUGE weekend for events in the greater Harrisburg area. Here are my top picks:

Summer means Dauphin County’s Sunset Movie and Music Series. This free, family friendly event takes place weekends in Fort Hunter Park. This Friday, reminisce with a screening of The Goonies. Pack your lawn chairs and blankets!

The 7th annual Gettysburg Fest runs through the weekend, and if you go, be sure to check out the Troegs Independent Stage Friday and Saturday.

You’ll find a diverse roster of live entertainment handpicked by Troegs. Saturday’s lineup includes Darry Miller & The Veil, The Greatest Funeral Ever, herbie and The Passionettes.

Of course, be sure to grab some cans of Sunshine Pils, Perpetual IPA and Troegenator while you’re there, kick back, relax and enjoy the music.

It’s Father’s Day! I have two cool ideas for dad, just pick the one closest to you. If you’re nearer to Carlisle, treat dad to a Beer & Bacon Flight at Market Cross Pub. Get there by noon for a free brewery tour, then enjoy Market Cross brews paired with bacon appetizers -- available all day.

Meanwhile, at The Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey it’s Drinks & Donuts for Dads! From noon to 5 p.m., treat dad to a Fractured Prune donut paired with beer or wine -- just $5. Also, they’ll have live music from 1-4 p.m.
