The unofficial ringing in of summer! It’s Memorial Day weekend (I can hardly believe it), and of course you know that means Artsfest street festival in downtown Harrisburg.

This week, I’m presenting the top “to dos” to last you all weekend long.

Filmfest at 48th annual PennLive/Patriot-News Artsfest

You’ve been there, done that. So perhaps this year you can delve a little deeper into Artsfest. Did you know it includes a FREE three-day film festival, presented by Moviate?

Find free screenings at Midtown Cinema and the Civic Club -- and check out documentaries, short films, moody and intense narratives, contemporary underground cinema and more.

Troegs Performance Stage at Metro Bank Park

The Harrisburg Senators take on the Bowie Baysox in the weekend-long series, running tonight through Monday.

NEW: The Tröegs Performance Stage at Metro Bank Park kicks off this weekend. Grab a cold beer at the Tröegs Beer Garden just inside the main park entrance along the third base line, then check out some great live music before the game.

Tonight featuring music from Cobrette Bardole, and Saturday night featuring Taylor Poole Project.

On Sunday night: Stick around for fireworks after the game!
