>Report: 11 Minutes Of Daily Exercise Linked To Lower Early Death Risk

(Undated) -- A new report says just eleven minutes of moderate exercise each day could lower a person's risk of premature death. Researchers analyzed data from nearly 200 studies involving more than 30-million people around the world. They found that people who were moderately active for 75 minutes a week had lower risks of overall mortality, heart disease, stroke, and various cancers compared to people who were not active. Those activities were things like hiking, walking briskly, cycling to work, or playing actively with their children. The researchers estimated that one in ten premature deaths, between ages 30 and 70, could have been prevented by 75 minutes a week of moderate physical activity.
