The Harrisburg Senators will kick off their home schedule tonight at FNB Field in Hershey, Pennsylvania, facing the Akron RubberDucks. The game begins at 6:30 p.m., marking the start of the 2026 season for the Senators after starting on the road against the Altoona Curve.
Fans attending the game will experience the new clear bag policy, which requires bags to be transparent and no larger than 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches. Exceptions include small clutches, diaper bags, and medically necessary items. According to the Senators' announcement, the policy aims to enhance safety and streamline entry into the ballpark.
The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a clear Senators bag, courtesy of First National Bank, in line with the new policy. Fans can purchase tickets online, by phone, or at the box office, which is open until the end of the game on game days. FNB Field operates as a cashless venue, with cash accepted only in the parking lot and at the box office.
Opening Night festivities include a balloon twister, a face painter, and a postgame fireworks display presented by First National Bank. The Harrisburg Senators have also partnered with the Rothrock Foundation to offer a Free Kids Zone every Tuesday, requiring a waiver for entry.
Parking is limited on City Island, with additional options available in downtown Harrisburg. Fans are encouraged to plan accordingly and consider walking to the stadium via the Walnut Street Walking Bridge. As the Senators take on the RubberDucks, fans can look forward to an exciting start to the season with plenty of activities and giveaways.
