>>Department Of Health Urging Citizens To Get Flu Shots

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The department of health is urging Pennsylvanians to get their flu shots this year amid the pandemic. Health officials say this year it is more important than ever to get one as they want to reduce the critical complications between the flu and COVID-19. Less people getting influenza could also free up space in hospitals for COVID-19 patients. The department of health says anyone older than six-months can get either a shot or nasal spray, which is covered by almost all carriers and people can call the state's health center to get a free vaccine.
