DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — A missing autistic teen has been found dead, after troopers and the community worked tirelessly to find him for days.
Troopers confirmed 15-year-old William Peters III was found in the water after crews were sent near the Millersburg Ferry a little after noon on Thursday.
Peters' disappearance rocked the Millersburg community, which banded together to help the family find Peters.
He was last seen Monday in Upper Paxton Township, and prompted a "large scale" multi-county search.
The circumstances of Peters passing have not been released at this time.
