It's Supermoon Week!

If you look up in the night sky this week you'll see something that only happens twice this year.

A supermoon will be visible on Wednesday with the moon arriving at its closest point to the Earth for all of 2022. That means it will appear about 14-percent bigger than other full moons and 30-percent brighter.

The event begins at 5 am Eastern and about nine hours later the moon will be truly full.
