Police got a report of an armed man at a train station in Scotland, but when they got there it turned out to be a Star Wars cosplayer.
The man, who has a social media following under the name the Grampian Stormtrooper, was dressed in his Imperial Stormtrooper costume which had a Scottish twist to it, as he olso had on a kilt. He boarded a ScotRail train to Dundee to go to ao convention, but the train returned to the station shortly after departing and he was approached by a guard who escorted him to police officers.
The cosplayer wrote on Facebook that he "met two firearms officers, three Police Scotland, two British Transport police, and had to chat to them all in an office." The Stormtrooper had to explain to police that his "blaster" was a plastic prop, and the Police then took the man home to get a bag for his blaster and was also asked not to wear his full Stormtrooper armor on the train.
Luckily for everyone involved no one informed the Empire and no Sith Lords arrived at the scene.
