Happy Hangover Day!

It's New year's Day and you know what that means, it's National Hangover Day!

Today is the day we all wake up and with a punishment for our brains, after all the drinking we did the night before.

Feeling like a dumpster fire is not the way one wants to start off the new year, and for those regretting their decisions of the night before, here's ways for you to get back to normal.

Eat a banana, bananas are high in potassium, which we lose after heavy drinking, which contributes to muscle aches and cramps, eating a banana will help ease that. Drink plenty of water during, replaces the fluids lost which can help ease the symptoms of a hangover, also fruit juices and sports drinks will replace electrolytes that have been lost to recover from low blood sugar. Eating a meal with complex carbohydrates, protein, and a little fat, will ease a hangover. Whole wheat toast can absorb acids of the stomach, and a fried egg can give the stomach something else to do instead of producing acid.

Hopefully, some of these can help cure you of your pain, but unfortunately none of these can help your walk of shame.
