In New Jersey a police chief is accused of harassing staff by defecating by desks, and spiking coffee with Viagra.
North Bergen Police Department chief Robert Farley, is the subject of complaint from five officers who are suing the township for retaliation, discrimination, sexual misconduct and harassment, from a hostile workplace that includes putting firecrackers under chairs, to dosing the office coffee with Viagra and Adderall and jabbing a needle into an officer’s penis.
Michael Derrin, a special captain, claims Farley chased him and cornered him before sticking him with a hypodermic needle through his jeans into the tip of his penis, drawing blood. The complainants said the abusive behavior began when Farley, whose father and grandfather were deputy chiefs, was appointed the job. A state investigation is also underway after Farley was reported to the attorney general.
