AIR UPDATE :
Betting on increased and ongoing international travel, United Airlines has agreed to buy 15 supersonic jets – flying twice the speed of todays fastest commercial planes with a potential route from Newark to London in 3 ½ hours. United is hoping to begin service in 2025.
LAND UPDATE:
Spain just reopened June 7thto all vaccinated Americans ; France reopens (today) June 9th– and Ireland welcomes all vaccinated Americans beginning July 19th. Closer to home – Las Vegas welcomes all travelers and celebrates its complete 100% reopening with spectacular July 4thfireworks.
RIVER & OCEAN CRUISING UPDATE:
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises returns to the rivers June 18thin Venice, Italy and July 4thfrom Paris, France… Ama Waterways begins European river sailings July 3rdin Portugal and July 21ston the Danube.
**Royal Caribbean will not require proof of vaccines to cruise from Florida or Texas this summer, but only on Florida and Texas sailings. However, you must be fully vaccinated to cruise aboard Carnival and NCL this July. Silversea will be the first ultra-luxury cruise line in Alaska beginning this July roundtrip from Seattle…and Viking Ocean will have 3 ships sailing from Malta in July.
