AIR UPDATES :
**Last Friday, more than 2-million passengers traveled to and from American airports – the closest number to pre-covid days. American Airlines will open their Flagship lounges in September, beginning in Miami - and Low-cost Spirit Airlines will launch several Miami routes, including flights from Philadelphia and Baltimore beginning in October. Miami Airport is becoming the leader as the hub for low-cost airlines.
LAND/HOTEL UPDATES :
**Walt Disney World lifts indoor mask requirements for vaccinated guests – but no character hugs yet – sorry! AAA adds new “Inspected Clean” criteria testing to hotel evaluations as part of their ongoing AAA Diamond Program. Portugal opened up yesterday to all vaccinated American travelers – and if you’re planning to visit one of our National Parks this summer, be patient…last month visitor records were set at Yellowstone , Grand Teton and Arches National Park.
CRUISING UPDATES :
**Royal Caribbean’s “Adventure of the Seas” just began cruising with vaccinated guests roundtrip from St. Martin. Princess Cruises introduces a new on-demand feature letting passengers call a crew member to their assistance instead of waiting in line at a reception desk, service begins July 25thon Alaska sailings.
