Last Thursday, the TSA reported passenger screening numbers surpassed 2019 levels for the first time since the onset of Covid-19.   Delta has started selling packable Covid tests for return flights to the U.S. for $50.00 – and a reminder the CDC still requires a face mask inside all transportation facilities including airports , bus and train stations.

LAND/HOTEL:

Beginning tomorrow, 7/8, all fully vaccinated domestic travelers can forgo pre-arrival Covid testing and a 10-day quarantine to Hawaii – be sure to plan ahead for car rentals, there’s still a limited number available for visitors.  Closer to home…One of the top 10 Railroad Museums in the world, the RailRoad Museum of Pennsylvania in Lancaster County, opens today to all visitors.

OCEAN/RIVER CRUISING:

Popular Key West will now be open to all cruise passengers and Cozumel, Mexico welcomed its first cruise ship in 15-months, Royal Caribbean’s “Adventure of the Seas” - Carnival Cruise Line sailed from Miami 3-days ago for its first cruise from Florida this year aboard Carnival’s Horizon.

Ama Waterways and Viking River Cruises will return to European cruising on the Douro River in Portugal , the Danube , the Rhine – plus the rivers of France later this month.
