The real estate market is so hot right now that realtors are apparently showing houses that aren't even on the market.
A woman on TikTok shared footage from her Ring camera, showing a real estate agent coming to her house when she wasn't home, walking around to the back door, going in, and opening the front door for a group of prospective buyers.
Her house is NOT on the market, and she had no idea who the realtor was. She was at work about 30 minutes away when she got the security alerts from her Ring cameras. She called the police and rushed home. By that point, the realtor had already spent 20 minutes leading a tour through all the rooms of her house.
The woman, the police, and the realtor all talked it out and it sounds like no charges will be made against the realtor. He apologized for the mistake, and said there were a series of coincidences like the owner of the house he was supposed to show telling him to enter through the back door.
For what it's worth, the realtor also said that none of the buyers were interested in the woman's house.
