PA Farm Show 2026 Theme: "Growing a Nation"

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has announced the theme for the 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show as "Growing a Nation." The theme celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States, emphasizing the role of agriculture in the nation's history and development. Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding made the announcement on Thursday (October 2) during a press conference held in partnership with the American 250th PA in Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania Farm Show, the state's largest agricultural event, will take place from January 10 to January 17 in Harrisburg. The show is known for attracting over half a million visitors with its diverse exhibits and activities. Attendees can expect to experience a variety of attractions, including baby animals, tractor square dancing, and the famous 1,000-pound butter sculpture.

Redding highlighted the importance of the theme, stating, "At the Farm Show, agriculture isn’t just seen; it’s lived, and each year our theme becomes the heartbeat of that experience." The event promises to offer a sensory-filled week, featuring fan favorites like the food court and sheep-shearing competitions.

The 2026 show will not only celebrate the nation's milestone anniversary but also continue its tradition of showcasing Pennsylvania's agricultural heritage. As the countdown begins, preparations are underway to ensure the event is a memorable celebration of both agriculture and history.
