Hershey, Pennsylvania-based The Hershey Company has been recognized as one of America's 250 Most Iconic Companies by TIME Magazine. The candy giant secured the 14th spot on the list, which celebrates companies that have significantly influenced American culture and society. This recognition is part of TIME's celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary.

According to Yahoo News, the list was compiled through a survey conducted by TIME and Statista, which asked U.S. residents to rank companies based on their commercial success and cultural impact. Hershey's inclusion highlights its longstanding legacy of over 130 years in the confectionery industry, during which it has become a household name synonymous with chocolate and sweetness.

Other Pennsylvania-based companies that made the list include Kraft Heinz at number 30, Comcast at 112, Dick’s Sporting Goods at 164, and United States Steel at 226. Lehigh County-based Air Products & Chemicals also featured at number 72.

Kirk Tanner, a Hershey executive, expressed pride in the company's recognition, noting its role in shaping culture and society. He emphasized Hershey's commitment to innovation while staying true to its values.
