The Air Dot Show scheduled for Saturday (May 23) at Harrisburg International Airport has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions. The decision comes as forecasts predict steady rain, gusty winds, and unseasonably cold temperatures in the low 50s. Organizers aim to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, performers, and crew.
According to Chris Dirato, Director of Public Relations for Air Dot Show Central PA, rescheduling was necessary to provide the best possible experience. The show, initially planned for three days from Saturday to Monday (May 23–25), will now proceed as planned on Sunday and Monday.
The Air Dot Show is a highlight in the region's calendar, featuring a mix of military precision and civilian aviation talent. The event includes aerial performances, live entertainment, and interactive programming. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are among the featured performers, drawing aviation enthusiasts from across the country.
In preparation for the event, a section of the Susquehanna River will be temporarily restricted to redirect boat traffic around the airport runway. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will place buoys to mark the restricted zone, with Waterways Conservation officers on-site to guide boaters.
Despite the cancellation of Saturday's events, the Air Dot Show remains committed to delivering an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend celebration. Updated scheduling information and ticket policies will be communicated to ticket holders and posted on official Air Dot Show channels.
