Texas Rangers Welcome Almost 40,000 Fans For Home Opener

The Texas rangers home opener at Globe Life Field was on Monday against the Blue Jays, and the stands were packed with fans.

According to Fox 4 News, the game was a sellout, with 38,238 people in attendance, which is a new record for sporting events in the pandemic era.

There is a mandatory mask rule inside of the ballpark, and while staff did their best to enforce it, not everyone was following the guidelines.

As of right now, CBS DFW is reporting that the Rangers are only selling tickets for April home games in case they need to make any adjustments on capacity during the rest of the season.

The Blue Jays won the game 6-2.
