Lancaster City police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured at Culliton Park on West Strawberry Street. The incident occurred on Wednesday (October 8) shortly after 3 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene to find a victim with a gunshot wound, according to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police. The victim was transported to a local hospital, but their condition remains unknown.
The shooting is believed to have taken place in the area of Strawberry and Fremont streets. Around 4 p.m., more than a dozen officers were seen in the vicinity of Fremont Street and Poplar Street, where crime scene tape was set up.
