These restrictions are for the city of Philadelphia only, but he’s encouraging neighboring communities to follow too because they share the same hospitals, etc.
- Starting November 20th, 2020
- No indoor events
- No visits between households
- No parties
- No watching sporting events as a group
- No Indoor weddings, funerals, or baby showers
- Outdoor events
- 10% capacity or 10 people per 1,000 sq ft.
- Max number of people – 2,000
- No food is to be served to discourage people from taking off their masks.
- Restaurants
- No indoor dining (everyone at a restaurant must eat outdoors)
- Outdoor dining should be household groups only
- Shopping
- Limit five people per 1,000 sq ft.
- Work
- Everyone must work from home unless it is absolutely necessary to be on site.
- Education
- Childcare, elementary, middle school – allowed
- High School & College – Online only
- Closed
- Gyms, Museums, Libraries, Theaters
- Youth, Community & School Sports prohibited
- Organizers are not to move games and practices to surrounding counties that have fewer restrictions in place.
- Hair salons and barbers may continue to operate
