Whoops! Elton Thanks Wrong City

Elton John is currently on his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, and with so many shows he’s apparently gotten a bit confused about what city he’s playing in.

Case in point after performing in Kansas City earlier this week, he took to social media to thank his fans but made a major flub. “What a great night @tmobilecenter in Arkansas City!,” read the tweet. “Thank you to everyone who came down - you were all amazing.”

Well, fans were quick to correct Elton about the city he was in, although in fairness there’s no word on whether he personally wrote the tweet or not.

• “Oh dear. You were in Kansas City. Wrong state and wrong city,” one person posted, while another noted, “T-Mobile Center is in Kansas City :). I was there, and had a blast!!”
