Bacteria Some Jergens products are being recalled over possible bacteria contamination.
The FDA says the three and ten ounce bottles of the Ultra Healing moisturizers may be contaminated. A small number of the products contained a bacteria that poses minor risks for healthy people, but could be potentially dangerous to those with weak immune systems. The full range of the contamination is still being investigated.
The affected Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizers were manufactured between October 1, 2021 and October 18, 2021 and are being removed from store shelves. There may still be some for sale so check for the date stamp before buying.
You can call the company for a free replacement coupon at 1-800-742-8798 and they’ll send a postage paid envelope so you can return the recalled product. See the product codes affected here.
