Weâve all had that moment where weâve had to put on a fake smile and pretend to like something, deep down we secretly despise. Well, now folks are spilling the beans on things they think most people secretly hate, although they donât let anybody know.
It all started when someone on Reddit posed the question, âWhat is something that everyone just pretends to like?,â and letâs just say folks had a lot of thoughts.
Responses include:
- âTheir haircut when the hairdresser shows you the back of it with their little mirror.â
- âBefore social media, pictures of other peopleâs vacation that got developed at the drug store.â
- âEveryone on match sites just f***ing lives to hike in the mountains.â
- âHaving the restaurant staff sing you âHappy Birthday.â
- âThe pizza party at work for working 300 extra hours in a month to meet quotas.â
- âOther peopleâs kids.â
- âBaby showers âŚ. Just stab me with a plastic fork in the eye.â
- âGender reveals. who cares, blah. Anything having to do with babies, in general, unless they are your own or in your immediate family.â
- âEmployers' holiday parties.â
- âI immediately thought of holiday gift exchange. No, I really don't want to exchange gifts with Susan, because even if I put three things on a list under $20, the things that I will receive will always be sh*ttier than the things I buy.â
- âDrinking as they get older. Itâs been apart of me for awhile now, but itâs become expensive. Makes me feel like sh*t and apparently beer bloats me now. If you get too wild it feels like it can take longer than a day to recover. Damn it all.âÂ
